Ork Genestealer Hybridz - Shoota Boyz

Ork and Genestealers melded together into grotesque hybrids, thirty times over.

Ork Genestealer Hybridz

The core mob in my Ork/Genestealer Hybrid army, forming the centre of the battleline. There's subtle variations on the head conversion throughout. Lots of three-armed monstrosities ready to taste manflesh.

Chris, when you get them all photographed etc gimme a shout as I wouldn't mind doing a wee peice, or getting you to do, on my Blog as your army I one of the best concepts and executions I have seen in years.

In fact I miss the fact you don't play 40k as I can't play against them.

oh and how are my old skool horrors coming along ;)

Ta Neil. You've very welcome to run an ego-stroking piece for me over on Pink Tyranids.

Today's update for Project Change is a G1 Pink Horror, and the ones you sent me have been stripped and cleaned up ready to go at some point in the future.

Coolio, just gimme a nudge whenever you find the time and get the pics done.

I gotta say this is one of the coolest things I have seen in a long time. Making me rethink selling my own Orks off.

Absolutely brilliant. Do you have any WIP photos of the hybrid conversions?

Fgah! Apocalypse was sickening the one time I tried it with this army. Scooping up a dozen casualty models a time when they're so extensively converted and painted was disheartening.

I think a tutorial is in order on how I did the conversions Lamenter.

Lots more of the rest of the army to come in the very near future. I've got 1500 points fully-painted, and some add-ons I'd like to do this years (like Freebootaz).

A tutorial would be very cool.

I had a brood of the original models back in the early 90s, and I'm considering recreating them for nostalgias sake.

I love those original models. See mine here. That's what started me off, that and the Freebooterz fluff book.

Very tempted to do some Khorne Stormboyz in a similar vein.

Hi!
What a fantastic Hybrid group !
I have a Genestealork Kult myself and your heads' modification inspired me to do it myself (I "genestole" it). A great idea to mix genestealers' and orks' heads.
